Benefits of Homeopathy in post-surgical treatment of Breast Cancer
The authors searched the French nationwide healthcare database of patients with mastectomy (non-metastatic breast cancer) (Surveyed 98000). It was observed that 37% of survey population (11+26%) used homeopathy before surgery (6 month or 7-12 months) and 22% used homeopathy for 6 months after surgery and even 15% of the patient’s used homeopathy for long term after surgery. The study concluded that use of homeopathy was maintained after surgery and seemed to play a role in helping patients to better tolerate the side effects of cancer treatments.
