Homeopathic solutions cannot be considered to be pure water [Eng – Fr – ES]

Translational value

Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) proton relaxation technique is used in the fundamental research to describe the higher structuring of water, therefore, it can be used to describe the same in homeopathic medicines too.

The present study aimed to observe the difference between Cuprum metallicum (metal) and Gelsemium sempervirens (plant) in cH dilution based on the NMR proton relaxation technique (in comparison to controls – solvent and lactose)

The NMR relaxation times between the medicines and their controls was confirmed statistically. Both Cuprum met Gelsemium sempervirens showed a a highly significant influence of the starting material and a highly significant influence of level of dilution.

It is concluded that the homeopathic potencies retain specific magnetic resonance even at higher dilutions, and therefore, cannot be considered to be pure water. Homeopathic dilutions may have a specific material configuration which is affected by chemical nature of the container, dissolved gases and the environment they are kept.

The authors also put forward the concept of “dynamic pharmacy” as the electromagnetic field of the homeopathic dilution can be enhanced using potentization (dynamization) process.
