Physicochemical transfer of “information” of ultrahigh dilutions

Translational value

  • The information transfer and changes in the physicochemical aspects of ultrahigh dilutions (UHDs) have always been a challenging question.
  • This study explores the transmission of physicochemical changes of three high dilutions of Arnica, viz., 6cH, 30cH, and 200cH.
  • Medicines were prepared and placed in the receiver solutions in a contained manner, and the receiver solution was subjected to evaluation of physicochemical methods and UV/VIS/NIR to measure the specific effects of the selected HD transfer sources on the receiver solution, including electrical conductivity, pH, and ORP.
  • The signals by high dilutions could be detected in the receiver solutions used for experiments.

It was concluded that, “The overall findings of the study offer valuable new insights … particularly in detecting the HD signal in solutions with varying pH levels.”
