The neuro-modulation reach of Ultra High Dilutions

Translational value

  • Addiction is not only an obstinate habit, but it also affects all domains of health—physical, social, and mental well-being.
  • The study explored the integrative approach using ultrahigh dilutions (UHDs) as isotherapic and organotherapic therapy in rats subjected to opioid addiction (morphine) using the MORPH conditioned place preference (CPP) paradigm.
  • The UHDs could restore the molecular neuromodulation induced by morphine.
  • The study concluded that,

“To our knowledge, this study represents the first demonstration of the beneficial influence of ultra-high dilution medicines as a promising treatment for opioid use disorder.”
