- Lycopodium clavatum has varied uses both for physical as well as mental symptoms.
- In a quest to observe the application of Lyco for memory impairment, the study subjected rats with induced memory impairment.
- The Lyco was used in Mother Tincture, 30, 200, and 1000 for 17 days, and the rats were evaluated by the Morris water maze test.
- Lyco MT and 200 showed improvement in learning and memory, as well as an improvement in cerebral blood flow.
- It was concluded that
Lyco may be used as a drug of choice in conditions of memory impairment due to its beneficial effect on cerebral blood flow.
