What does potentization do…

Translational value

The potentization process may be called backbone of ultra-high dilutions and homeopathy. Its a crucial step which is supposed to bring out the dynamic and medicinal powers into action, but at the same time  the exact changes (physico-chemical) induced by potentization (trituration and succession) remains a matter of exploration.

The team explored the physico-chemical changes induced by potentization in the cupric oxide and zinc oxide nanoparticles in dilutions up to 6cH. These dilutions were subjected to fluid motion, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy.

The succussion triggered multi-sized bubble generation and turbulent fluid motion. During trituration, oxidized nanoparticles were retained. Silicate large macro-particles and encapsulating the nanoparticles were retained and carried at higher dilution steps.

It was concluded that different physico-chemical changes, such as size reduction, successive reduction and oxidation of nanoparticles, and morphological changes, were achieved through trituration and succussion.
