Reply Post to "Homeopathy lacks any hard evidence" by Mr Roger Gill

This reply is in response to Mr. Roger Gill letter published online at ft.com on 25.04.2013

Mr. Roger Gill, UK has concluded Homeopathy to be devoid of any “HARD” evidence in order to prove its existence. He quotes “For many people homeopathy is effective“, and it makes users feel better. “Feeling better” doesn’t always happens on theoretical grounds. If something is “effective” than only one can feel “better“.
Secondly, coming to “real” “hard” evidence, Mr. Roger is pointing out absence of randomized controlled trials, which are the gold standard of biomedical research. True! RCT are! But has somebody told him that Research is not always equal to RCTs. There are some other designs too!!! (according to need of research question).
Homeopathic research is as 0ld as its inception. Till date hundreds of studies (RCT, non RCTs, Observational, Case studies, Case Series, Surveys, Drug Provings, Drug Standardizations) have been conducted.

Such voluminous work cannot be Zero or placebo. Even if we consider all studies to be wrong, then also our bias comes into play. There are plenty of quality researches where it has been proved, established and proposed that Homeopathic system of Medicine does exists on scientific ground. The clinical success of Homeopathy is not a hidden treasure. We can fool layman, but not intellectuals.
Two pints of Wye Valley Brewery’s bitter can make author feel very much better, but has author ever tried to look why he felt better??
The gravity was black magic for some in early era, “How can a planet attract us (or we attract) sitting some unknown infinite distance away. But that does exist, and has been proved!!.
WE may not be able to measure, but some things do exist anyway, and we can feel them. Due to our limitations, ignorance and false ego we overlook certain facts. The day is not far when Homeopathy’s  modus operandi will be established especially for skeptics 🙂
